SBS commences acquisition of Puro

Growth and innovation have always driven SBS's strategic choices and have allowed it to build a wealth of knowledge and experience spanning over 25 years.

SBS has now become one of the leading players both nationally and internationally in the smartphone and tablet accessories market: represented in over sixty-five countries, it has four dedicated European operations (France, Germany, Switzerland and Poland).

Mobile phones are a constantly evolving market within which the Novara-based company has always stood out. Focusing on cutting-edge technology and customer satisfaction, the research and development of new designs and trends is a key factor in propelling the business towards significant growth.

In September 2022, it commenced the acquisition of Puro, the Modenese company founded in 2002 with an international reputation - in Europe, Japan and the Middle East - that over the years has been able to build value in its target market segments.

The Puro brand has always been known for its ability to understand customer needs, with a particular focus on Apple products, and for its ability to differentiate its style by offering a diverse range of sustainable, high-quality products.

In light of their experience, Puro staff will continue to work at the Modena headquarters, working alongside the Miasino team, while logistical operations will gradually be transferred to the SBS logistics hub in Paruzzaro.

The SBS spirit of innovation and specialised know-how will bring about a significant change within Puro. We are confident that this move - which is in line with our growth projections - will create considerable opportunities for our partners; moreover, it will also allow us to penetrate even further into the market.”, remarked Sandro Storti - CEO of SBS.

We are really excited to have made this acquisition of Puro” commented Giorgio Stella, the new CEO of P-Mobile, the vehicle created for the deal, “the integration of this organisation within SBS will allow us to broaden our expertise in a number of strategic target markets”, he concluded.

“I am delighted to commence on this journey with a company like SBS. I am convinced that the Puro brand will continue to grow in a constructive manner and in keeping with the values that have always distinguished our business, which is recognised worldwide as a shining example of Italian design.” says Aurelio Goldoni, CEO of Puro Italian Style SrL. “I am also particularly pleased by SBS's proposal to allow the founding partners to remain in the company as consultants to smooth the transition to the new ownership.”
