SBS at MWC 2026: innovation and on-demand services at the core of the company’s strategy

The Mobile World Congress (MWC) is the largest international event dedicated to mobile telephony and the connected ecosystem. Each year, in Barcelona, companies and professionals from all over the world gather to showcase innovations that are reshaping the industry: a unique opportunity to discover new technologies, discuss emerging trends and transform ideas into concrete solutions.

At this year’s edition, SBS brings to MWC a clear focus: the increasingly central role of services in corporate strategies, as a direct response to market demands. The company continues to develop a true service hub, ranging from device protection and customization to solutions designed to support the trade-in sector.

“Innovation for us is not a milestone - comments Alexander Karelin, CTO of SBS - but an ongoing process driven by listening to the market and our customers. At SBS, we work to develop technologies and services that genuinely simplify everyday life, enhancing the in-store experience. The Mobile World Congress represents the ideal showcase to present our latest developments in a strategic segment such as services, and a valuable opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to increasingly flexible, scalable and future-oriented solutions.”

FAST SKIN: THE SBS SERVICE ECOSYSTEM CONTINUES TO EVOLVE

The Fast Skin ecosystem confirms its core role within the company’s strategy: an on-demand, tailor-made protection model designed to ensure a seamless and scalable experience for retail stores.

At MWC 2026, Fast Skin introduces new protection solutions, new materials and new machines, designed to further raise standards in terms of precision, reliability and speed, enhancing both the in-store experience and end-customer satisfaction.

THUNDER: NEXT-GENERATION AUTOMATION

MWC will also host the official launch of Thunder, the new AI-integrated machine that elevates service delivery to the next level.

With full automation and reduced processing times and human error, Thunder automatically recognizes the material through artificial intelligence and adjusts the blade to ensure the ideal cut in any condition, both on standard materials and on HYPER Hybrid Glass. A step forward that combines performance and operational simplicity, with an immediate impact on service quality.

HYPER HYBRID GLASS: PROTECTION AND VISUAL WELLBEING

Among the latest material innovations, the HYPER Hybrid Glass line is further expanding to meet the needs of an increasingly demanding and aware market. In particular, SBS introduces a solution developed in partnership with Eyesafe, a leader in blue light protection, designed for those seeking protection not only for their device but also for their wellbeing.

Prolonged device use, common in today’s digital lifestyle, may affect sleep, concentration and visual comfort. SBS responds with a new material featuring Eyesafe® CPF60 technology, which reduces blue light at the source, improving visual comfort and sleep quality, enabling healthier and longer device usage.

FAST SKIN CAR: ON-DEMAND PROTECTION FOR VEHICLE DISPLAYS

Displays inside vehicle cabins are becoming increasingly central: infotainment and navigation screens are now everyday, high-frequency-use tools. From this evolution comes Fast Skin Car, a service designed to provide secure, on-demand protection for vehicle screens.

Thanks to a practical and guided kit, film installation is simple and self-applied, protecting the display and helping preserve its value over time: an immediate, retail-ready solution addressing real market needs.

OMNIGLASS: UNIVERSAL PROTECTION AND SIMPLIFIED CATEGORY MANAGEMENT

The search for universal protective solutions goes beyond on-demand services, leading the company to introduce Omniglass, a project that simplifies category management within the protection segment. A single protective glass becomes compatible with a wide range of smartphone models: with just 27 product versions, up to 1,500 devices currently on the market can be covered, identified through dedicated software accessible via QR code. A single SKU compatible with multiple devices means reduced inventory, lower obsolescence risk and more space for fast-moving products, optimizing efficiency and logistics.

SBS’s commercial strategies and projects consistently respond to market demands, offering solutions ranging from device protection and customization to support for online trade-in activities. A continuously expanding service network designed to support the evolution of the industry with concrete, innovative and results-oriented projects.
